treating.
Board-certified psychiatrists for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and therapy referrals. In-person and telehealth. Most major insurance accepted.
Every psychiatrist at Clarity was selected not just for credentials, but for their diagnostic rigor and how they explain their thinking to patients.

“Anxiety is rarely just one thing — I spend the first session mapping every thread before we touch a prescription pad.”

What's the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist?
A psychiatrist holds an MD and can prescribe medication — they completed medical school, then specialized in mental health. A psychologist (PhD or PsyD) provides talk therapy but cannot prescribe in most states. At Clarity, our psychiatrists do both: they assess, diagnose, manage medication, and refer to therapists when the right combination of both is indicated.

“Most adults with ADHD spent two decades being told they were lazy. My job is to reframe that narrative with evidence.”

Do I need a referral to see a psychiatrist?
No. You can book directly through Clarity without a referral from your GP. If your pediatrician or primary care physician has recommended a psychiatric evaluation, we can coordinate directly with them to receive relevant records — but their referral isn't a prerequisite to being seen.
